I had seen footage by quite a few photographers of a spot referred to as Horseshoe Bend and made a psychological word to go and shoot it sometime. Properly, that day was yesterday. I’m in Las Vegas proper now on a random weekend journey (low cost flights and low cost accommodations = a visit to wherever) and determined to drive to Horseshoe Bend and again yesterday. That will sound dumb, and it was, waaay an excessive amount of driving.
The final word fail on my half will not be researching Horseshoe Bend after I went to Antelope Canyon. Each of them are a stone’s throw away from Web page, Arizona. It was proper underneath my nostril and I missed it in July.
Not this time although. I went and it was superb. You head south on Freeway 89 from Web page and between milemarker 545 and 544 you’ll see a mud car parking zone in your proper. Park there and observe the path, in about 3/4 of a mile you’ll see it in all of its breathtaking majesty.
I snapped away for the higher a part of half-hour and assembled a number of footage into this nice panorama, get pleasure from!

For the photographers: ISO 100, f11, and 1/6 of a second. This was made of seven completely different pictures that I sewed collectively in Photoshop. I pushed the readability just a little greater than I usually do on this one to deliver out the entire traces within the rocks, then lowered the vibrance to desaturate it just a bit bit and supply just a little extra drama.
