Snorkeling Expedition in Cenderawasih Bay

To totally immerse your self within the landscapes and tradition, typically it’s essential prolong your keep at a vacation spot, and that’s precisely what 10-time WT adventurer Maggi Grall did when she mixed our Komodo Dragons and Coral Reefs with our Snorkeling Expedition to Cenderawasih Bay. The group had superb encounters with whale sharks and different marine life, and loved studying in regards to the native cultures in Indonesia.

Our Indonesian journey continued in Cenderawasih Bay, a distant, tranquil, and sparsely populated space.  As if the fabulous snorkeling and seeing Komodo dragons weren’t sufficient, now we had been going to swim with whale sharks!  Our Journey Chief Bob met us at our lodge in Nabire then we headed out and boarded the Shakti.  And the journey started…

Our days had been full of out-of-this-world snorkeling in heat water.  There have been WWII airplane wrecks, beautiful coral of each description, unbelievable fish and different sea creatures, and even some caves that had bats roosting in them.

After the ranger obtained permission from the council, we visited a village and had been a part of a welcome ceremony that included placing our proper foot in a bowl on the bottom whereas beads had been put round our necks.  The girls and boys did a conventional dance and the boys confirmed us their spear-throwing abilities.  We did a difficult hike by means of the jungle to a gorgeous waterfall.

One night we went looking for hornbills going to roost for the evening; we noticed a whole lot of them within the sky.  This man was hanging across the village.
